I have to say this week for me personally was the most relaxing peaceful week I've had in a long time. Given I didn't go anywhere special and yes I knocked out 5 days in the gym as I've been determined to achieve weekly. But something about this week that gave me a melancholy feel to my surroundings. I guess it can be a realization to something that has always been here. Like realizing how blessed you are every time you open your eyes to a new day. I believe that true appreciation comes with age and wisdom. I for one learned this through experience, close friends and family.

Trust I have my shitty days, but that's just it. Having to go through the shitty-ness of that day or week or month can be a blessing in very lol shitty disguise. I'm big enough to dust my shoulders off and keep it pushing. So can you ! Now applaud yourself  for what you've accomplished and whats to come. I tip my hat to all my blessed blog babies!

I first discovered this women just randomly surfing YouTube. Yet if your a major fashion lover you would have noticed this women  in the front row of the many fashion with the most "Gaga-esque" outfits coming straight from the runway. Her cheery ,confident yet laid back Italian persona is not the only thing that sets her apart from many well known Vogue editors. Her personal style is uncanny. And if you have no idea who awesome this lady is don't feel bad after watching these videos. Like I said I'm just as late but fortunate to have learned just a little more about her history and her INSANE  LOVE FOR FASHION.

Had to cap those words... Trust when I say this.

She's not called a "Fashion Maniac" for nothing.

Did I mention she is one of my favorite bloggers as well?

 I'M BAAAAACK BLOG BABIES!

HEY LOVES

I know its been a ridiculous amount of time since I last posted. But please know I am hard working at my night job, intense gym sessions, crazy long day and night projects, and self edited/directed photo shoots all by my lonely. Don't feel sorry for me though its just simple day in the life of lil ol' Madonya. No work No play..... and from what its looking like I have a long way to go. Lots more work to edit and rework  and to think I was only able to get in 3  hours of sleep just to wake right back up with a treacherous piercing pain in my left shoulder. Now I been up since 8am managing with 1 working right arm YAY! :-\

Well atleast I hope you enjoy these photos, and to all the lovely ladies out there who believe that they can't seem to style a decent outfit do to there 'curves'. Please believe me there is a style for every age, shape, height, and size. I strongly believe I am an example of that.I am in the gym 4-5 times a week working on the physic I want to achieve. But 1 thing I can tell u for sure is I LOVE MY BODY this size as well. There always room for improvement in anyone.

Yet one has to love themselves FIRST.

Everything else will follow.

So I am back after a hard week of work and stress to share with you one of my vintage buys I purchased over 5yrs ago at one of my favorite vintage stores in long island NY.And yes I had this dope piece sitting in the back of my closet and didn't actually wear it till recently. This shirt is by one the most epic designers of all time Diane Von Furstenberg ...well IMO. This shirt has a zipper closer and fitted around my waist. LOVE the sex appeal this shirt has while still being super comfy and light. Great for this NY spring weather. The color is soo lovely and fits my skin tone very well. I paired it with these cute leather suede booties by Steve madden that I purchased last year at Marshall's. I always believe you can always find vintage classic pieces and still make them look modern. This shirt is def one of my top favs for this spring.

And yes the rumors are true he is very short HA! But it didn't look weird or bad on him 1 bit. And yes I took this silly pic myself  ( I should've licked his cheek, that didn't sound right lol!!)  but I think I did a good job.

MINT SEASONED SNAKE

 HEY BLOG BABIES!!

Back at it once again to show you guys my current hair do I did myself :-) !!!

It took me a lil time to get adjusted to it since it is much brighter then what I am accustomed too. To be honest its really half and half when it comes to my hair color choices. Some of my friends prefer me in dark colors like medium to dark brown. And sum LOVE me with the honey dust high lights and tones on my complexion. As for me I think it all depends on the day and how I feel.

*shrug*

But who really cares I'm constantly changing my hair so no color feels neglected lol.

On another good note I can actually testify and say its officially spring in NYC yaayyyy!! I couldn't be happier. I get to wear my delicious shoes I've been collecting harboring through out this year. Like these lace snake skin platform heels I purchased last month. Insanely comfortable and looks super sick with a pair of skinny jeans. Also paired it with the so called "it" color of this season MINT. I think this color is beautiful on darker skin tones.The shape of the blouse drew me in more then the color. Might invest in more loose candy colored blouses for this spring and summer....hmmm fashion day dreams.

I just hate having two of  the same shoes in different colors. I rather go for an entirely different shoe...but that's just me *shrug*

I found all these goodies on BEACON'S CLOSET website. They sell vintage and modern pieces that I can testify and say is super cheap or affordable for the common fashion consumer on a serious budget.

And if your a thrift shopper like I this site is NOT a let down like most thrift stores you may enter and find the most raggedy, unkempt, Stinky stank in the bottom of the barrel tossed out clothing. So happy I can browse all day but I have to go and pic up my crazy sister.
