TOP LOUIS

Had to get back into my runway and resort addiction and share with my lovely blog bunnies my TOP FAV looks for this new LOUIS VUITTON RESORT 2013 collection. What really intrigued me about this line although it wasn't designed by Marc Jacobs, looking through this collection still gave me the feeling as though his essence was very much was an influence. Although some may say Louis Vuitton will never be the same without the infamous MJ, this resort line should raise a few arched brows. This new Lady design director Julie De Libran IMO did a great job sticking to the DNA of this epic brand. It might just be me but this collection looks as though if LV's line was to have a love child with MJ's line and low and behold!!! TADAAAAAHHHH! This line looks like a serious fusion of many influences of the 70's and MJ's runway well known remarkable layering.

To those who can't even fathom to look at LV because MJ has stepped down as head designer please believe he is still and it seems will always be involved. I mean he is Julie's boss after all lol.

I applaud her for a great job!!
